Qatar Airways is set to expand its international reach by resuming flights to Helsinki, Finland, and Tokyo Haneda, Japan, starting 15 July. This move aims to bolster connectivity for travellers from regions such as Australia, Kenya, and Southeast Asia, as well as facilitate onward transfers in Japan for passengers from Europe and the Middle East.
The airline will initially operate four weekly flights to Helsinki, increasing to daily services from 1 August. Flights will depart Doha every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, with additional flights on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from August. Similarly, Qatar Airways will complement its existing service to Tokyo Narita by offering four weekly flights to Tokyo Haneda, which will also increase to daily operations from 1 August.
Qatar Airways’ decision to resume these routes is part of a broader strategy to rebuild its network, covering over 160 destinations across six continents this summer. The airline, which has been recognised as the ‘World’s Best Airline’ by Skytrax multiple times, continues to enhance its global presence and service offerings.
Travellers can book flights via the Qatar Airways website or mobile app. This expansion underscores the airline’s commitment to providing extensive travel options and maintaining its reputation for excellence in the aviation industry.
