Malaysia Airlines will operate additional ad-hoc direct flights between London Heathrow and Kuala Lumpur on 18 and 22 April 2026, in response to increased passenger demand.
The temporary services aim to provide additional capacity and strengthen connectivity between the United Kingdom and Southeast Asia, offering passengers more flexibility for travel across the airline’s network.
The additional services will include flights from Kuala Lumpur to London Heathrow (MH7006), departing at 00:15 on 18 April and 00:40 on 22 April, arriving at 07:00 and 07:25 respectively.
Return services from London Heathrow to Kuala Lumpur (MH7005) will depart at 13:10 on 18 April and 09:30 on 22 April, arriving the following day at 09:25 and 05:45.
Malaysia Airlines currently operates twice-daily scheduled services between London Heathrow and Kuala Lumpur, providing onward connections to more than 60 destinations across Asia and other regions.
The addition of ad-hoc flights is intended to support peak demand periods while maintaining network connectivity for both leisure and business travellers.
