Preferred Hotels & Resorts has added four independent Bali properties, taking its Indonesian portfolio to five hotels and expanding its Southeast Asian network.
Preferred Hotels & Resorts has added four independent properties in Bali, strengthening the Preferred Hotels Indonesia portfolio. The additions increase the brand’s presence in the country to five member hotels.
The four properties join AYANA Midplaza Jakarta in the Indonesian portfolio. As a result, Preferred Hotels & Resorts now represents 25 member properties across seven Southeast Asian countries.
The regional network also includes Dusit Thani Bangkok, The Fullerton Hotel Singapore and The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore. Artyzen Singapore and The RuMa Hotel & Residences in Kuala Lumpur are also members.
Four Bali hotels join the portfolio
The new Bali members span Canggu, Uluwatu, Ubud and Sanur. Together, they cover beachfront stays, wellness retreats, cultural experiences and smaller-scale luxury accommodation.

Ametis Villa Bali in Canggu joins the L.V.X. Collection. The property has 14 residential-style private villas, each with a private swimming pool and open-plan living areas.
Its guest offer includes butler service, private airport transfers and tailored activities. These range from village cycling and cultural excursions to farm visits and beach picnics.
The property also features Ruby Spa and Billy Ho. Chef-restaurateur Will Meyrick leads the restaurant, which focuses on Asian cuisine.
Uluwatu and Ubud additions focus on boutique and wellness stays
Nuju Uluwatu also joins the L.V.X. Collection. The adults-only property opened in July 2026 and has 17 private pool villas in the Bingin area.
The resort targets couples, honeymooners, wellness travellers, digital nomads and independent guests. It also provides access to nearby cafés, surf beaches, wellness studios and cliffside areas.
Samsara Ubud, another L.V.X. Collection member, is located in Kelusa Village north of central Ubud. The one-Michelin-star property has 17 villas in a rainforest setting.
Each villa includes a heated infinity pool and outdoor living space. Meanwhile, Chakra Spa offers wellness treatments inspired by Balinese traditions.
The resort also provides yoga, art classes, live jazz and floating breakfasts. In addition, its Samsara Pustaka concept focuses on Indonesian storytelling, art, music and creativity.
The Meru Sanur adds wellness and MICE capacity
The Meru Sanur joins the L.V.X. Collection with 184 suites on Sanur Beach. The resort sits within The Sanur, Indonesia’s first special economic zone focused on health and wellness tourism.
The property features beachfront pools, a spa, fitness facilities and a kids’ club. It also participates in the Preferred Wellbeing programme.
Wellness activities include treatments inspired by traditional Balinese practices, yoga and nature walks. Guests can also join handicraft workshops and sunrise activities.
The resort has a seaside driving range and an adjoining Convention Center. The events venue can accommodate up to 5,000 guests.
For the Preferred Hotels Indonesia portfolio, the Sanur addition also expands access to the meetings, conventions and wellness segments.
Southeast Asia growth backed by regional trade support
Preferred Hotels & Resorts is also expanding support for hotel and travel trade partners across Southeast Asia. Its Singapore-based team provides sales, training and revenue optimisation services.
The regional team includes Laurence Onfroy, Vice President, Business Development, Asia Pacific; Christine Tan; Ryhan Shaik, Account Director, Southeast Asia; and Lemuel Chua, Director, Hotel Revenue Optimisation, Southeast Asia.
Support for travel industry partners includes assistance with client requests and conversions. The company also provides access to its global sales network and centralised reservation channels.
