Hotel Agrabad has announced the appointment of Hasanul Islam as Executive Director – Operations, marking a significant milestone in the hotel’s ongoing commitment to operational excellence, service innovation and sustainable business growth.
Hasan assumes his new role following an outstanding tenure as Assistant General Manager; a position he held since February 2022. During this period, he played a transformative role in strengthening operational performance, elevating service standards and driving strategic initiatives across the hotel. Widely recognized for his results-oriented leadership and guest-centric approach. Hasanul has been instrumental in modernizing operational practices, enhancing cross-functional collaboration, cultivating a culture of accountability, innovation and continuous improvement. His leadership has contributed significantly to improved financial performance, operational efficiency and the overall guest experience, further reinforcing Hotel Agrabad’s position as one of Bangladesh’s most distinguished hospitality destinations.
As Executive Director – Operations, Hasan will provide strategic leadership across all operational divisions, overseeing Rooms Division, Food & Beverage, Culinary Operations, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, Sales & Marketing, Human Resources and other key support functions. He will be responsible for driving operational excellence, strengthening financial performance, accelerating digital transformation, enhancing guest satisfaction and developing future hospitality leaders while ensuring the highest standards of service and governance.
