Sheraton Dhaka, in collaboration with Prime Bank PLC, proudly presents House of Canton, a grand Cantonese Food Festival showcasing the rich flavours of Cantonese cuisine for food enthusiasts in Dhaka. The festival will take place from 04 November to 14 November 2026 at The Garden Kitchen, located on the 14th floor of Sheraton Dhaka in Banani.
The inaugural ceremony of the festival was held on 04 November 2026 at The Garden Kitchen. The event was attended by Guests of Honour Mr. Felix Chang Y.C., President of the Overseas Chinese Association in Bangladesh (OCAIB) and Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Evergreen Products Group Limited, and Ms. Vivian Huang, Vice President of the Overseas Chinese Association in Bangladesh (OCAIB) and Chief Operating Officer of Baolee Overseas Limited and Baolee Security Service & Property Management Ltd.; Md. Shakawath Hossain, Chief Executive Officer of Unique Hotel & Resorts PLC (The owning company of The Westin Dhaka, Sheraton Dhaka & HANSA- A premium residence); Gary Farstad, General Manager, The Westin Dhaka & Sheraton Dhaka; and Shaila Abedin, Head of Liability & Women Banking, Prime Bank PLC, along with representatives from Prime Bank PLC, members of the media, and the leadership team of Sheraton Dhaka. Together, they officially inaugurated the festival with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The inauguration was followed by an exclusive food tasting session, where guests tasted the signature dishes that will be featured throughout the festival.
Chinese Masterchef Xu Delin from China will join Chef Sait Dursun, alongside Sheraton Dhaka’s local culinary talents Chef Mahbubur Rashid Akhand and Chef Dulak Paul. The chefs will present a feast of Cantonese specialities across seven dedicated culinary stations, each showcasing unique flavours and preparations.
Guests can enjoy an extensive selection of specialities, including Chinese Aromatic Braised Lamb Shank, Hoisin Crispy Duck, Grilled Chicken with Honey-Glazed Hoisin Sauce, Crispy Tiger Prawn with Pandan Leaf, Prawn Cheung Fun, Truffle Beef Fun, Crab Meat Tobiko Dumpling, Chinese-Style Roasted Whole Fish, Chef’s Special Chilli Crab, and Assorted Sushi, Sashimi and Maki Rolls, with a Live Dumpling Station offering Assorted Chicken and Prawn Dumplings.
In addition to its Chinese specialities, the buffet also includes a selection of local and international favourites, such as Beef Prime Rib, Grilled Salmon, Hyderabadi Lamb Biryani, Beef Nehari, and Mutton Rogan Josh, along with many other favourites.
To complete the dining experience, dessert lovers can indulge in an impressive selection of sweet treats, including Matcha Flan, Cantonese Double Milk Pudding, Almond Jelly with Lychee, Mango Sago, Mango Sticky Rice and Ondhe Ondhe. The selection also features Chocolate Milk Baklava, Pistachio & Coconut Baklava, Tulumba, Moshabak, Kunafa and local sweets, along with many more irresistible desserts.
House of Canton will be available exclusively during dinner, with the buffet priced at BDT 9,950 net per person.
