Darren Seah, Executive Director, Messe Berlin Asia Pacific, said:
“ITB India 2026 has once again demonstrated the strong interest in India and South Asia as important growth markets for the global travel industry. One of the strongest pieces of feedback we received this year was the quality of the conversations taking place across the show floor. Exhibitors and qualified buyers came with clear business objectives, leading to focused discussions, new connections and opportunities for future partnerships,” said Darren Seah, Executive Director, Messe Berlin Asia Pacific. “The strong international participation further reflects the confidence in these markets, while the ITB India Conference, Cruise Capsule and inaugural Leadership Roundtable created additional opportunities for industry exchange and dialogue. We are pleased with the momentum of this year’s edition and look forward to building on it in 2027.”
Leadership Roundtable adds strategic dialogue
A new feature this year was the ITB India Leadership Roundtable, organised in partnership with global strategy consultancy Simon-Kucher.
The closed-door session brought together senior representatives from tourism, hospitality, travel technology, investment, destinations and government.
Discussions examined India’s changing role in global tourism. Topics included traveller segmentation, destination competitiveness, connectivity and the way consumers discover and plan travel.
Participants also considered how destinations can better understand India’s diverse traveller segments and position themselves for future growth.

Four curated tracks covered Knowledge, MICE & Corporate, Travel Technology and Experiential Travel.
Across the programme, 40 sessions and 80 speakers delivered 1,440 minutes of content.
The discussions addressed MICE, corporate travel, hospitality, travel technology and changing traveller expectations.

Networking extends beyond scheduled meetings
Networking continued outside the formal business programme.
The ITB India Happy Hour on the first day provided exhibitors, buyers and other industry professionals with an informal setting to continue discussions from the show floor.
Further networking opportunities followed the Cruise Capsule, connecting participants from the cruise and MICE sectors.
Following the conclusion of its fourth in-person edition, ITB India 2026 is already looking towards 2027.
The event will continue positioning itself as a B2B platform linking the international travel industry with buyers, partners and business opportunities across India and South.
