TAT has launched Amazing Thailand Innovation Gadget, a new platform connecting Thai travel tech startups with tourism businesses, public agencies and potential commercial partners.
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has launched Amazing Thailand Innovation Gadget, a new tourism technology platform. The initiative connects Thai travel tech startups with tourism businesses, government agencies and potential partners. It aims to move new technology from development into practical use across the visitor journey.
TAT introduced the platform during the “Amazing Thailand Innovation Gadget & Travel Tech Networking” event in Bangkok on 18 September. The launch also highlighted cooperation with the National Innovation Agency (NIA). Both organisations aim to create new routes for Thai travel technology to reach businesses and travellers.
Platform targets practical tourism applications
Amazing Thailand Innovation Gadget brings together information on tourism technologies and available solutions. It also gives entrepreneurs a channel to connect with potential users and business partners. The platform is designed to support testing, adoption and commercial use within Thailand’s tourism industry.
The initiative builds on TAT’s existing TAT Travel Tech Startup programme. That programme has focused on supporting startup development. The new platform extends that support towards real-world applications and business opportunities.
