
The evaluation teams for the South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) 2026 have officially arrived in Dhaka, Bangladesh, marking the penultimate stop of their regional tour before heading to the Maldives for the final leg of the judging process.
The arrival in Dhaka follows a string of successful evaluation sessions already conducted across key South Asian hubs, including Colombo (Sri Lanka), Bengaluru and New Delhi (India), Kathmandu (Nepal), and Paro (Bhutan). In Dhaka, the jury panels will review and evaluate local nominees, with sessions scheduled to run through June 30.
Following the conclusion of the Bangladesh evaluations, the SATA teams will travel to the Maldives, where the final judging rounds will commence from July 1 to July 5.
The South Asian Travel Awards 2026, celebrating the region’s finest in hospitality and tourism is slated to take place in the Maldives in early October.
