Conrad Bangkok appoints Nicola Coccia as general manager

Conrad Bangkok has appointed Nicola Coccia as general manager. This appointment marks both Coccia’s first general manager role within the hospitality company’s portfolio, and a full circle return to the property where he began his career with the brand.

In this role, Coccia will lead the team in all aspects of the hotel’s operations, from marketing and hotel administration to guest services and satisfaction, reinforcing Conrad Bangkok’s position as a leading luxury destination in the heart of the city.

Coccia joins from Conrad Seoul, South Korea, where as hotel manager he steered the property through one of its strongest performance periods on record.  Under his leadership, the hotel achieved strong commercial results while undertaking measurable service and product enhancements, including guest room upgrades and a dining concept transformation, that strengthened the hotel position within Seoul’s competitive luxury market.

His background spans 13 countries and combines deep food and beverage expertise with broader operational and commercial leadership. Prior to Seoul, he served as director of operations at Conrad Osaka, during which the hotel attained Forbes Four-Star recognition. “Conrad Bangkok was where my career with the brand began, and returning as general manager feels especially meaningful,” said Nicola Coccia. “My focus will be on building on the hotels strong foundation alongside its talented team, while delivering the kind of intuitive, elevated experiences that define the Conrad brand.”
