AirExplore and KlasJet are aligning under a unified operational structure aimed at increasing efficiency and streamlining services across both carriers.
The move is designed to create a more agile and optimised framework to support rapid scaling within the competitive European ACMI market. By integrating back-end functions, the airlines intend to eliminate operational overlaps, enhance customer service and maintain high safety standards.
part of the organisational alignment, Justinas Bulka has been appointed CEO of AirExplore while continuing in his current role as CEO of KlasJet.
Bulka stated: “Bringing AirExplore and KlasJet closer together allows us to deploy aircraft faster and scale more efficiently. By leveraging the unique strengths of each brand while unifying our back-end operations, we are positioning ourselves to be the most agile partner in the European aviation sector,”
Both airlines operate under European Air Operator Certificates (AOCs) in compliance with EASA regulations and maintain Boeing aircraft fleets. The integration of operational structures is expected to deliver efficiencies, particularly in technical and maintenance standards.
AirExplore and KlasJet will continue to operate as distinct brands under their respective AOCs. KlasJet will remain focused on the VIP and private charter segment, while AirExplore will concentrate on its core ACMI operations. The unified leadership structure is expected to support expansion into markets including the UK, the US and Canada through the Lithuanian AOC, while enabling faster aircraft deployment.
AirExplore operates a fleet of Boeing 737-800 aircraft, including both passenger and 737-800 BCF freighter configurations
