Adani Airports launches Swirl Transit Hotel at Navi Mumbai International Airport

Adani Airport Holdings has opened the 80-room Swirl Transit  Hotel at Navi Mumbai International Airport, offering short stays, dining and business facilities within Terminal 1.

Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL) has expanded its passenger services at Navi Mumbai International Airport by launching Swirl Transit Hotel, an 80-room property within Terminal 1. The  hotel offers four-hour and overnight stays, dining, shower facilities and business amenities for passengers with layovers, early departures, late arrivals and other short-stay requirements.

Located on the Arrivals Level of Terminal 1, the two-floor property has been designed to allow travellers to rest, refresh or work without leaving the airport environment. The opening also adds a new hospitality element to the airport’s growing portfolio of passenger and non-aeronautical services.

80 rooms across six categories

Swirl Transit Hotel offers 80 rooms ranging from 130 sq ft to 410 sq ft. Accommodation is divided into six categories: Superior Single, Superior Double, Superior Twin, Superior Accessible, Junior Suite and Executive Suite.

In-room facilities include high-speed Wi-Fi, smart televisions, dedicated workstations, electronic safes, tea and coffee facilities, premium bed and bath linen, toiletries and in-room dining.

Guests can also access express laundry, concierge assistance, 24-hour housekeeping, pick-up and drop services and wake-up calls.

The property includes a 24-hour all-day dining restaurant with seating for 40 guests, as well as round-the-clock in-room dining, grab-and-go options and a bar.

Suchit Bansal, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Non-Aero Business, AAHL, said:

“Swirl Transit Hotel brings accommodation into the airport environment, giving travellers greater flexibility to rest, work or refresh between flights. Navi Mumbai International Airport is being developed as a large-scale aviation and passenger services hub, and offerings such as Swirl add to the convenience of travelling through the airport. We see an opportunity to take this proposition to other airports across our network and build a wider transit hospitality offering.”

New hospitality offering at Navi Mumbai International Airport

Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) is one of India’s largest greenfield international airport projects and has been developed to serve the growing aviation needs of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

The airport began commercial operations on 25 December 2025 and launched international services on 29 July 2026 with its first international flight to Abu Dhabi. The addition of Swirl Transit Hotel forms part of the airport’s wider ecosystem of passenger and non-aeronautical services.

Swirl concept to expand to Guwahati

AAHL also plans to extend the Swirl Transit Hotel concept to Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (LGBIA) in Guwahati. A 21-room property is planned on Level 3 of the Arrivals area within the secured zone of Terminal 2.

The Guwahati property will offer hourly and overnight stays, together with dining and hospitality services. It is intended to serve transit passengers, arriving travellers, departing passengers with extended waiting periods and business travellers.

Dedicated workstations and meeting-friendly spaces will also be included, allowing guests to work between flights.

The launch of Swirl Transit Hotel forms part of AAHL’s broader strategy to expand non-aeronautical services across its airport network. The company is seeking to provide passengers with a wider range of services within the terminal environment while developing additional hospitality offerings across its airport portfolio.
