Launching in January 2026, Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) and Jim Thompson introduce the latest Thai AirwaysJim Thompson in-flight collection, presenting contemporary Thai artistry through newly designed amenity kits and Royal Silk Class comfort wear.

The collection marks the third year of their collaboration, combining style and sustainability while creating immersive cultural experiences that reflect Thailand’s craftsmanship and aviation heritage. The partnership began in 2023 with premium amenity kits for international Royal Silk Class passengers, followed by a second set of cultural prints introduced in early 2025.

The latest launch introduces 14 exclusive prints for amenity bags. It also marks the first time in THAI’s history that Royal Silk Class passengers will receive comfort wear sets designed by Jim Thompson to ensure an experience that is genuinely ‘Smooth as Silk’.

“Our collaboration with Jim Thompson reflects Thai Airways’ commitment to elevating our in-flight products and services while showcasing authentic Thai identity on the global stage. At a time when travelers are seeking more meaningful and environmentally conscious experiences, this collection represents our dedication to offering premium service with a strong emphasis on sustainability,” said Kittiphong Sansomboon, Chief Commercial Officer of Thai Airways.

“We’re very proud of our ongoing collaboration with Thai Airways, which now enters its third successful year. The latest in-flight collection elevates the passenger journey with a range of rich fabrics and innovative designs in celebration of Thailand’s heritage, showcasing our mutual passion for sharing Thai culture and craftmanship with air travelers,”said Frank Cancelloni, Group CEO at Jim Thompson.

The new amenity bags are crafted from Jim Thompson’s signature fabrics. Highlights include House on the Klong, inspired by the tropical garden and traditional teak home at the Jim Thompson House Museum; Orchids Bunch, reflecting the purple orchid emblem of Thai Airways; Elephant Legacy, combining bamboo motifs with Thailand’s national animal; and Stamp Siam, based on historical postage stamps featuring Thai landmarks and a Thai Airways aircraft. Additional designs capture Thailand’s natural beauty, including Paradise, Phrae Phii Suea and Tropical Forest Garden. Amenity kits are provided to Royal Silk Class passengers on international flights longer than 3 hours and 30 minutes, excluding flights to Milan, Paris, Tokyo, and Shanghai.

New to the collection, the Royal Silk Class Elephant Series comfort wear features long-sleeve tops and pants designed for passengers on European routes. The sets are available in two patterns and three colors, incorporating Jim Thompson’s Origami Elephant motif.

Sustainability is a core component of the Jim Thompson in-flight collection for Thai Airways. Eco-friendly fabrics and biodegradable materials are used across the range. Each amenity kit includes biodegradable items such as a toothbrush and shoehorn, along with socks, hand lotion, lip balm, and aromatherapy rollers, all in environmentally responsible packaging.

The 2026 collection invites passengers to “live the story” of Thai culture through Jim Thompson designs, aligning with Thai Airways’ vision to elevate in-flight hospitality and further strengthen the identity of the Thai Airways Jim Thompson in-flight collection.
