Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain citizens can explore Kyrgyzstan visa-free from 2025, boosting tourism and unlocking investment potential.
Kyrgyzstan has announced a visa-free entry policy for citizens of Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain, effective January 4, 2025, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This initiative aims to strengthen tourism and economic ties with these Gulf countries.
Travelers from these nations can explore Kyrgyzstan visa-free for up to 180 days within any 360-day period, making it an attractive destination for extended visits. However, those intending to work, study, or engage in activities beyond tourism will still need to obtain a visa tailored to their purpose.
The Ministry emphasized that this move is designed to enhance Kyrgyzstan’s appeal as a tourism hub and foster opportunities for foreign investment and business collaboration.
In a related development, Kyrgyzstan recently implemented a visa-free program for organized tourist groups from China. Groups of 5 to 25 individuals, following a pre-approved itinerary, can visit the country for up to 21 days without a visa. This requires prior approval from the tourism authority and proof of return travel arrangements. Tourists may reenter Kyrgyzstan after their initial 21-day stay.
These progressive measures reflect Kyrgyzstan’s commitment to expanding its tourism sector and strengthening international partnerships.
