Profitroom on the lookout for 1000 Hotel Stories

The booking technologies developer seeks to honour those in the hospitality sector with this unique initiative

Profitroom announced that it is looking for 1000 Hotel Stories from those in the hospitality sector to feature in its inspirational film The Keepers of a Thousand Stories.

The hospitality booking technologies developer aims to salute the unsung heroes in the hospitality sector, specifically those who work tirelessly to make every guest experience meaningful and memorable.

The 1000 Hotel Stories initiative essentially highlights the human side of hospitality and captures the dedication and creativity of the people behind it.

According to Profitroom founder Marcin Dragan: “Hospitality is an industry built on people, and The Keepers of a Thousand Stories is about honouring those who give so much of themselves. Their work may be unseen, but it’s absolutely essential. We wanted to create something that truly reflects their dedication and the joy they bring to guests’ lives.”

A compelling story

The Keepers of a Thousand Stories is not only a film but also a call to recognize the vital role of hotel staff in creating memorable travel experiences.

Set against the scenic Hotel Narvil as its backdrop, the film offers glimpses of diverse hotel staff members, from housekeepers to chefs, working together in unison to bring seamless experiences to life.

In one striking scene, a hotel general manager appears underwater, fully suited, a poignant metaphor for the invisible yet essential efforts of hospitality workers everywhere.

More than just a film

Profitroom’s initiative extends beyond the film, inviting hospitality workers to share their stories on 1000hotelstories.com for a chance to win a two-night stay at one of the brand’s global partner hotels.

Chief marketing officer Justyna Michalczyk said: “We aim to build a virtual guest book that celebrates the heart of this industry: its people. We’re calling on hotel staff everywhere to tell their stories: moments that reveal why they love their work and inspire others to see hospitality in a new light.”
