Hilton debuts in Hyderabad with Genome Valley Resort & Spa

The opening of Hilton Hyderabad Genome Valley Resort & Spa introduces Hilton’s first property in Hyderabad, expanding the brand’s South Asia footprint with a sustainability-focused urban resort tailored to business and leisure demand.

The opening of Hilton Hyderabad Genome Valley Resort & Spa marks a major milestone for Hilton, as it enters Hyderabad for the first time. Developed in partnership with C.K.R Resorts Pvt. Ltd., the new urban resort strengthens Hilton’s expanding South Asia portfolio while responding to rising demand in one of India’s fastest-growing metropolitan markets.

Set within India’s Biotech Hub, the resort blends contemporary design with architectural influences inspired by Telangana’s regional heritage. Hyderabad, with a GDP of USD 94 billion and robust foreign investment, is experiencing increased demand for premium hospitality that appeals to both business and leisure travellers.

Nestled across 20 acres of greenery and a natural creek, the property offers 115 guest rooms, including 13 pool villas and six suites. Interiors draw from the artistic legacy of Kakatiya architecture, using locally sourced stone and wood and incorporating native flora—reinforcing a strong sustainability ethos.

“This resort brings Hilton’s signature hospitality to a new destination and offers a multi-dimensional experience to guests, said Zubin Saxena, senior vice president and regional head, South Asia, Hilton. He added that the property will set a new benchmark for leisure-meets-lifestyle experiences in India.

A versatile events destination in the heart of Hyderabad

Positioned as a venue for both celebrations and corporate gatherings, the resort features 89,000 square feet of event space. This includes two pillarless ballrooms, five meeting rooms, expansive lawns, a pool deck, and a creekside mandapam designed for outdoor ceremonies. Earthy tones, open-air courtyards and bespoke interiors connect guests with the character of the Deccan landscape.

Vincent Ong, vice president, Full Service Brands, Asia Pacific, Hilton, noted: “Every element of the resort reflects our dedication to hosting our guests with charisma, culture and confidence so they can make the most of their stay.”

Wellness, recreation and lifestyle programming

At the centre of the resort is Hilton’s globally recognised spa brand, eforea spa, making its debut in India. The facility includes eight treatment rooms, a sauna, a steam and ice shower, and a no-device relaxation zone.
