The new brochure presents an array of new voyages
Expedition cruise firm Heritage Expeditions recently released its new Authentic Small Ship Expedition Cruising 2025-2026 brochure.
This most recent release includes two new voyages to Japan and a cruise industry first in the Philippines, alongside Heritage Expeditions’ iconic adventure cruises.
Commercial director and expedition leader Aaron Russ said the family-owned and -operated company was excited to announce another season of sharing the world’s best-kept secrets with its intrepid travellers and supporting the remote communities and conservation of the wild and remote places they visit.
What’s new this year?
Highlights of the new brochure include new Japan voyages, Eternally Sacred Japan and Discover the Islands of Japan, alongside plans for another industry first for the leading expedition cruise company: visiting Polillo Island in the Philippines on its Asian Island Odyssey voyage.
Russ said: “We expect to make cruise history during this season as the first expedition ship to visit the remote tropical outpost of Polillo Island. It has the perfect mix of unexplored paradisiacal island, incredible wildlife both above and below the water and a fascinating conservation history.”
The new brochure likewise encapsulates Heritage Expeditions’ business ethos based on the luxury of experience and making a difference through authentic expedition travel.
As Russ puts it: “Many of the opportunities and experiences on our voyages are exclusive to Heritage Expeditions, whether it’s joining Malaita’s Kwaio people in a dance so sacred it can only be observed if you are invited to take part on our Discover the Secrets of Melanesia voyage, assisting Professor Tim Flannery to discover new mammal species on our Indonesian Explorer expedition, or joining leading penguin scientist Professor Steve Emslie collecting samples at the world’s largest and oldest Adelie Penguin colony in Antarctica on our In the Wake of Scott and Shackleton voyage, these really are once-in-a-lifetime opportunities.”
Life-changing voyages
Heritage Expeditions Authentic Small Ship Expedition Cruising 2025-2026 brochure also features the company’s life-changing voyages exploring Australia’s Kimberley coast, rarely-visited New Zealand destinations accessible only by sea, down to the remote, wilderness and wildlife havens of Australia and New Zealand’s Subantarctic Islands, and ‘into the heart of Antarctica’ the Ross Sea aboard its luxurious, 140-guest expedition flagship Heritage Adventurer.
While more intimate explorations of the ice-carved fiords of Fiordland, the primordial wilderness of Stewart and Ulva Islands, and the breathtaking beauty of Marlborough Sounds and Abel Tasman National Park aboard 18-guest expedition yacht Heritage Explorer were honed by the company’s more than 40 years of exploration of these regions.
