Recently, InterContinental Dhaka, the iconic IHG Hotel, scored a hattrick at the Bangladesh Travel, Tourism & Hospitality Awards (BTTHA) 2024, winning in 3 categories. InterContinental Dhaka was awarded as the “Leading Luxury Hotel” and “Leading Eco-Friendly Hotel” whilst Mr. Ashwani Nayar (General Manager, InterContinental Dhaka) was recognized as the “Hotelier of the Year 2024”.
BTTHA 2024, organized by The Bangladesh Monitor, is the first-ever awards that recognize excellence in Travel Trade, Tourism, Hotel, Resorts, Restaurants and individuals in Bangladesh..
Mr. Peter Semone (Chairman, Pacific Asia Travel Association), Mr. Abdul Muyeed Chowdhury (Chairman, Biman Bangladesh Airlines), Mr. Abu Taher Md Jaber, (CEO, Bangladesh Tourism Board), Mr. Nazeem A Chowdhury (Deputy Managing Director, Prime Bank PLC), Mr. Akhtaruzzaman Khan Kabir, (Chairman of the Jury) along with Mr. Kazi Wahidul Alam (Editor, The Bangladesh Monitor) handed over the trophies to the winners.
