Agoda highlights five Asian airports offering cultural attractions, entertainment and wellness services that turn transit stops into travel experiences.
Digital travel platform Agoda has identified five airports in Asia that redefine the layover experience, transforming stopovers into opportunities for leisure, culture and entertainment. The announcement was made on 20 October 2025 and reflects a wider shift in the aviation and travel ecosystem, where airports increasingly function as destinations in their own right.
According to Agoda, these airports offer added value for passengers by integrating local culture, shopping, nature, wellness and recreation into the travel journey. Whether for a short transfer or a longer stay, each of the selected hubs offers options that keep passengers engaged and comfortable without leaving the terminal.
