The agreement seeks to boost US-Bangla Airlines’ operational requirements

Avia Solutions Group subsidiary BBN Airlines Indonesia recently signed a wet-lease agreement with one of Bangladesh’s largest carriers, US-Bangla Airlines.
As a leading provider of aircraft crew, maintenance, and insurance (ACMI) BBN seeks to support US-Bangla Airlines’ growing operational requirements.
Per the agreement, BBN Airlines Indonesia will provide two Boeing 737-800NG aircraft to US-Bangla Airlines, the first of which commenced operations last 1st April while the second will begin service early next month.
Configured with an all-Economy layout, both planes will operate international routes from Dhaka to the Middle East, Thailand, Maldives, and Singapore.
The aircraft and crew are fully based in Dhaka, ensuring a seamless integration into US-Bangla Airlines’ existing network.
A significant milestone for both parties
According to BBN Airlines Indonesia chair Martynas Grigas: “This partnership marks a significant milestone in our expansion within the Asian market. We are proud to support US-Bangla Airlines by providing high-quality ACMI capacity that aligns with their strategic goals and operational demands.”
For his part, US-Bangla Airlines’ head for commercial and contracts Jitendra Pandey said: “US-Bangla has been consistently seeking credible partners for ACMI leases, and with BBN Airlines Indonesia now on board, this marks our second ACMI partnership with the Avia Solutions Group.”
Pandey added that his airline’s experience with Avia Solutions Group companies has been very positive, particularly due to their agility in understanding and adapting to the unique operational and cultural requirements of the region.
This collaboration also highlights BBN Airlines Indonesia’s growing footprint in the regional ACMI market and underscores its ability to deliver tailored capacity solutions that support its partners’ operational success.
