Amari Phuket welcomed Kuoni travel agents from the UK for a familiarisation visit, highlighting the resort experience and reinforcing ONYX Hospitality Group’s strategic focus on the UK and Irish markets.

Amari Phuket, a resort within the portfolio of ONYX Hospitality Group, recently hosted a group of travel agents from the United Kingdom as part of a familiarisation visit organised with tour operator Kuoni.

The visit offered agents the opportunity to experience the property and its facilities first-hand, while also exploring the destination of Phuket. Familiarisation visits form part of the group’s ongoing strategy to strengthen engagement with key travel trade partners in international source markets.

ONYX Hospitality Group is a hospitality management company operating across the Asia-Pacific region, specialising in hotels, resorts, serviced apartments and luxury residences. As part of its trade engagement strategy, ONYX regularly organises familiarisation visits, allowing agents to experience properties directly and gain deeper knowledge of the destinations they sell.

The company said such initiatives help travel professionals better understand the guest experience and confidently recommend properties to their clients.
