This latest signing is Accor’s ninth in Vietnam for this year
Accor strengthened its footprint in Vietnam with the recent signing of Mercure Nha Trang.
This is Accor’s ninth signing in Vietnam for this year, and a pivotal one as it brings its Mercure brand to the coastal city of Nha Trang.
This latest signing is instrumental in expanding Accor’s offerings in the country.
The beachfront hotel is scheduled to open in late 2025.
Meeting evolving needs
Garth Simmons, Accor’s chief operating officer for its premium, midscale, and economy division in Asia said: “Vietnam is a fast-growing market with significant potential for continued expansion. Nha Trang, as an emerging destination with vibrant tourism appeal, presents a prime opportunity to introduce the Mercure brand to a broader audience.”
Simmons added that the Mercure is in a good position to meet the increasing demand for high-quality hospitality that also connects guests to local culture, as well as the evolving needs of today’s travellers.
He said: “The signing of Mercure Nha Trang underscores our strategic focus on expanding our presence in Vietnam, where we see continued demand for locally inspired, world-class hospitality.”

Located on Tran Phu Street, the 124 warm and welcoming guestrooms at Mercure Nha Trang will all offer ocean views.
