AirAsia partners with HYROX APAC to connect fitness communities across Asia Pacific, offering seamless travel experiences and launching key initiatives to support athletes and fans participating in HYROX events.

AirAsia has officially launched its partnership with HYROX APAC, marking a significant collaboration between the two brands to combine fitness, lifestyle, and travel. This partnership aims to connect communities across ASEAN and beyond, enabling athletes, participants, and fans to seamlessly travel to key HYROX race cities, turning travel into an enabler of shared ambition and meaningful experiences.

According to Amanda Woo, Chief Commercial Officer of AirAsia X, “Sports has always been a huge part of AirAsia’s DNA as we uphold our ‘Dare to Dream’ value. Since our inception, we have partnered with renowned global sporting platforms, from ASEAN football to the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games to the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), and our very own AirAsia RedRun which we introduced last year. Our partnership with HYROX comes at the right time, as fitness becomes a global lifestyle movement. With AirAsia’s network spanning over 130 destinations and AirAsia MOVE as a one-stop platform for flights and hotels, we can offer seamless travel experiences that bring people closer to the sports they love. Through this partnership with HYROX, we look forward to continuing our mission to bring communities together.”

As part of the collaboration, AirAsia and HYROX will launch a series of community-driven initiatives and on-the-ground activations, engaging the fitness community and highlighting the importance of travel for active lifestyles. The partnership also includes collaborations with selected HYROX Training Club gyms to ensure closer engagement with the HYROX community. Key focus markets for this partnership include Osaka (Japan), BangkokSingaporeHong Kong, and Incheon (South Korea), with more destinations to be supported in the future.

In addition, visitors who are registered for selected HYROX races partnered with AirAsia in 2026 will receive an exclusive 10% discount on flights within a designated period during their initial registration with HYROX. This initiative is designed to make it easier for participants to focus on their race and enjoy the entire experience.

To celebrate the partnership, AirAsia and HYROX also unveiled a special co-branded aircraft livery themed “Keep Moving, Keep Rising”, reflecting the shared belief in movement, progress, and the power of travel to connect and inspire fitness communities across and beyond ASEAN.

A highlight of the 2026 HYROX calendar will be AirAsia stepping in as the Title Partner for two flagship events in the region: AirAsia HYROX Jakarta (6-7 June 2026 at Nusantara International Convention Exhibition (NICE)) and AirAsia HYROX Kuala Lumpur (December 2026). These iconic capitals will host thousands of athletes and spectators, transforming race weekends into vibrant fitness-led travel experiences.

Beyond these milestones, AirAsia will continue its support throughout the 2026 season, providing integrated travel experiences and community-focused initiatives. The partnership between AirAsia and HYROX aligns with the increasing popularity of sports and lifestyle travel, positioning both brands at the intersection of fitness, mobility, and community.

HYROX has seen significant growth in Asia Pacific, with events staged in over 10 cities, attracting over 196,000 participants to date. The partnership with AirAsia will further accelerate the appeal of fitness travel, helping to connect even more individuals to the growing fitness movement across the region.
