Glorious Achievement of Bangladesh’s Hotels and Resorts at South Asian Travel Awards 2025

The prestigious South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) 2025, one of the most significant recognitions in the hospitality sector of the region, was held in a grand ceremony at the Cinnamon Grand, Colombo, Sri Lanka on September 20, 2025. Leading hotels, resorts, and travel agencies from Sri Lanka, India, Maldives, Nepal, Bhutan, and Bangladesh participated in the event.

A total of 53 Gold Awards and 113 Silver Awards were handed over to representatives of the winning organizations across different categories.

From Bangladesh, several hotels, resorts, and tour operators received awards in multiple categories, bringing pride to the nation and further establishing the country’s hospitality industry on the international stage.

In this context, Md. Mohsin Hoq Himel, Secretary of the Bangladesh International Hotel Association (BIHA), said:
