Tourism Malaysia has introduced the Family Holidays e-leaflet to celebrate National Family Month (BKK) in November, set to be held on 9-10 November 2024 at Taman Botani Perdana, Kuala Lumpur.
The event, organized by the Ministry of Women, Family, and Community Development, carries the theme “Family Love, Civilian Soul,” aiming to inspire widespread participation in engaging and meaningful activities designed to strengthen family bonds.
To support this initiative, Tourism Malaysia has curated over 44 family-friendly products in this e-brochure, featuring exciting holiday packages suitable for all ages.
Twenty-one tourism partners have joined this effort, including popular attractions like Sunway Lagoon, Gamuda Land, THE TOP Penang Theme Park, Ripley’s Adventureland, Jungle Gym Genting Highlands, Wet World Water Park Shah Alam, Combat Baze, SuperPark Malaysia, and The BOMB Battle Kuala Mud. In addition, 12 travel agencies are offering diverse and affordable holiday packages, with accommodations in Putrajaya and Pahang and glamping experiences in Putrajaya and Perak. More tourism products and partners are expected to join throughout November.
Packages begin at just RM25 per person for activities like archery, and the 2-Day-1-Night (2H1M) package starts at RM240 per person, including accommodation, lunch at a traditional village house, and various engaging activities for a memorable family getaway.
Datuk Manoharan Periasamy, Director General of Tourism Malaysia said, the launch of the Family Holidays e-leaflet is a significant effort to encourage families across the country to spend quality time together while enjoying interesting destinations in the country.
