Pan Pacific Singapore welcomes Fennie Poon, Silvia Yeo, and Elizabeth Ong as new Directors of Finance, Commercial, and Events, respectively.
Pan Pacific Hotels Group announced the appointment of Fennie Poon as Director of Finance, Silvia Yeo as Director of Commercial, and Elizabeth Ong as Director of Events at Pan Pacific Singapore. This marks a significant milestone for Pan Pacific Singapore, as we welcome three new Associates to our leadership team.

Fennie Poon, Director of Finance
With more than 26 years of experience in the finance and hospitality industries, Fennie has held key positions at prestigious hotels, including PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, Singapore, Shangri-La Singapore, and Kerry Hotel Beijing. No stranger to the Pan Pacific Hotels Group, Fennie first served as Director of Finance at Marina Mandarin Singapore, which was then rebranded to PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, Singapore in 2020, for seven years, where she provided critical insights and management to enhance the hotel’s financial performance.
In her new role, Fennie will report to the General Manager, Melvin Lim, focusing on the hotel’s financial strategy to ensure operational efficiency. Drawing on her extensive financial expertise, she will deliver strategic recommendations to drive revenue growth and optimise financial efficiency.

Silvia Yeo, Director of Commercial
With her hospitality career spanning over 31 years, and having honed her skills with renowned brands, such as Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts, Resorts World Singapore, Marriott International, and Hilton, Silvia brings a wealth of industry knowledge and expertise. Most recently, Silvia was Assistant Vice President, Commercial Sales at Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts, where she developed and implemented innovative sales strategies, while overseeing sales performance across all Singapore properties.
In her role as Director of Commercial at Pan Pacific Singapore, Silvia will report to the General Manager, Melvin Lim, and she will be responsible for overseeing the sales efforts for Pan Pacific Singapore. Her primary goal will be to leverage her expertise to drive revenue growth by developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives, ensuring that Pan Pacific Singapore maintains its leadership as a premier business and MICE-focused property.
Elizabeth Ong, Director of Events
Elizabeth joins us from nKallang Alive Sports Management, where she played a vital role in managing catering sales events for the Singapore Sports Hub. With her hospitality career spanning over 26 years, Elizabeth brings a wealth of experience in events management and catering sales, having held key positions in luxury properties, including Mandarin Oriental, Capella Singapore, and Raffles Singapore.
As Director of Events at Pan Pacific Singapore, Elizabeth will report to Silvia Yeo, Director of Commercial. Elizabeth’s primary goal at Pan Pacific Singapore will be to drive the corporate meetings, MICE and weddings business by leveraging her expertise to develop and implement strategic sales initiatives, ensuring the hotel remains a leader in these segments.
