The 14th Bangladesh Travel and Tourism Fair (BTTF) 2026 will be held from October 29 to 31 at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre (BCFCC) in Dhaka, bringing together tourism professionals, businesses and industry representatives from home and abroad.
Organised by the Tour Operators Association of Bangladesh (TOAB), the three-day fair will focus on the theme “AI-Powered Tourism, Sustainable Destination”, highlighting the role of artificial intelligence and modern technology in tourism development, sustainable travel and international cooperation.
Details of the fair were announced at a press conference held at Crowne Plaza Dhaka Airport on Tuesday morning, presided over by TOAB President Mohammad Hanif.
Following 13 successful editions, BTTF has emerged as a platform for showcasing Bangladesh’s tourism potential and creating business opportunities with international partners, organisers said.
Tourism representatives and organisations from more than 20 countries, including Nepal, India, Singapore, the Maldives, the Philippines, Türkiye, the United Arab Emirates, China, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Thailand, Brunei, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia and Azerbaijan, are expected to participate. US-Bangla Airlines is the title sponsor of this year’s fair.
The organisers expect more than 200 booths and stalls, over 220 exhibitors, more than 250 qualified buyers, 2,500 trade visitors and over 60,000 visitors during the three-day event. More than 200 airlines, hotels and tour operators are expected to participate across four themed exhibition halls.
Speaking at the press conference, Hanif said BTTF had developed into one of South Asia’s leading tourism platforms through its 13 previous editions.
“Alongside showcasing Bangladesh’s tourism potential to the world, the fair will play an important role in creating business-to-business networking opportunities with international brands and exploring new commercial prospects,” he said.
The fair is being held with the cooperation of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, the National Skills Development Authority (NSDA), Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation, Bangladesh Tourism Board, Bangladesh Tourist Police and the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI).
Biman Bangladesh Airlines is the airline partner, while Crowne Plaza Dhaka Airport is the platinum hospitality partner. Sabre is the global distribution system (GDS) partner, OPAS Communications Limited the public relations partner, M360ICT the technology partner and Convoy Service the transport partner. Maestro is the digital partner, Panorama PC Creators and Ruchi are the audio-visual partners, and BCFCC is the venue partner.
TOAB said the fair aims to promote Bangladesh as an international tourism destination, strengthen connections between domestic and international industry stakeholders, and create new opportunities for business and investment in the country’s tourism sector.
