Hotel Sarina Dhaka is presenting the Peshawari Food Festival from 16 August to 30 August 2026 at Summerfields Restaurant, bringing together the rich culinary traditions, aromas and iconic flavours of Pakistan in an extensive buffet dinner experience.
The festival was inaugurated by His Excellency Mr. Imran Haider, High Commissioner of Pakistan to Bangladesh, together with Mr. Muhammad Wasif, Deputy High Commissioner, Mr. Zain Aziz, Trade and Investment Attaché, and other officials of the Pakistan High Commission. Representatives from leading media organisations, food bloggers and influencers were also invited to attend the inauguration.
Adding authenticity to the festival, Guest Chef Rai Abbas has specially travelled from Pakistan to curate and prepare a wide range of traditional specialties. The buffet features favourites from different regions of Pakistan, including Nalli Pulao, Kabuli Pulao, Chicken Sanawari, Mutton Shajahani Handi, Beef Namkeen, Fish Hyderabadi Masala, Chicken Sindhi Biryani, Chicken Lahori Biryani, Chicken Yakhni Pulao and Peshawari Naan, along with many more traditional dishes.
A major attraction is the live cooking station, where famous Pakistani kebabs are freshly prepared and grilled for guests. Alongside the Pakistani specialties, Summerfields’ continental and international buffet selections will also be available, offering an extensive dining experience for every palate.
The culinary experience has been curated to showcase the iconic flavours of Pakistan, with particular attention to traditional cooking techniques, aromatic spices and authentic regional recipes. The festival aims not only to offer an exceptional dining experience but also to celebrate the cultural connection between Bangladesh and Pakistan through food and hospitality.
