Doha: Qatar Airways has recently won two major awards for ‘Brilliance in Employee Engagement in HR’ and the Gold Award for ‘Best Social Media Campaign’ for its 2019 Breast Cancer Awareness campaign.
The airline has been rewarded for excellence in promoting breast cancer awareness while engaging thousands of employees and passengers in a 30-day program during the Breast Cancer Awareness Month in 2019, as well as for its influential social media campaign which shared inspirational and informative content with millions of Qatar Airways’ followers on social media platforms.

The BOC Brilliance Awards were established to celebrate the most innovative and industry-leading practices and achievements of organisations and businesses worldwide. The Internal Communication Brilliance Awards support the vital role that the Internal Communications function plays in the success of any organisation. Qatar Airways currently operates more than 700 weekly flights to over 100 destinations across the globe. By the end of the IATA Winter Season, Qatar Airways plans to rebuild its network to 126 destinations including 20 in Africa, 11 in the Americas, 42 in Asia-Pacific, 38 in Europe and 15 in the Middle East. Many cities will be served with a strong schedule with daily or more frequencies.
