Hundreds of volunteers from Corona Isolation Center Chittagong took part in a clean-up program at Cox’s Bazar beach on the occasion of World Tourism Day.

Corona Isolation Center Chittagong Doctors, nurses and a group of school, college and university volunteers who took part in the Corona confrontation came to Cox’s Bazar on a joyous journey.

On Sunday (September 26), they cleaned up bottles and plastic and indigestible waste floating on the beach in Cox’s Bazar.

The day is being observed this year in the face of uncertainty as the most devastated sector hit by the Kovid-19 epidemic. The theme of this year’s World Tourism Organization is ‘Tourism and Rural Development’.

Nurul Azim Rony, chief coordinator of Corona Isolation Center Chittagong, said various types of wastes were polluting the beach. Because, most of these wastes are bottled and plastic products. All of us who are tourists have to throw dirt in certain places.
