A bogie of an oil-laden train derailed in Sylhet. As a result, the railway communication of Sylhet district with the rest of the country is closed.
The freight train No. 952 derailed in the Maizgaon railway station area after leaving Sylhet at 8.30 am on Tuesday (September 15).

He said the train derailed after going to the Maizgaon railway station area with an empty oil tanker. As a result, train communication with the rest of the country is closed. However, the trains bound for Sylhet arrived on time in the morning. However, the intercity bound for Chittagong is scheduled to leave at 10:15 am but there will be a delay. The rescue train has left Kulaura junction to rescue the crashed train.
