Planning a holiday is never completely stress-free, but this year’s process has been even more complicated.

The changing coronavirus restrictions means that a number of popular holiday destinations including Spain, Portugal and France are currently off-limits and the rules in other countries could change overnight.

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) are currently advising against ‘all but essential’ international travel, but have a list of countries exempt from quarantine that Brits can travel freely to.

This list is always changing, but promise quarantine-free travel for Brits returning home which takes off the stress of having to self-isolate for two weeks after landing.

However, the government’s list only notes countries that don’t have restrictions upon arrival in the UK – so some countries, such as Australia, are deemed safe to travel to but aren’t currently accepting visitors.

The weather has been wet and miserable in the UK lately and it’s the season where most families choose to jet off for some sun, sand and fun.
