A special flight of US-Bangla Airlines has brought back Bangladeshi
nationals stranded in Dubai due to the outbreak of the COVID 19 pandemic. Today, 16 June, 158
passengers flew from Dubai to Dhaka at 12:21 pm local time and landed in Dhaka at 7:13 am.
US-Bangla Airlines has operated a special flight with Boeing 737-800 aircraft under the
supervision of Bangladesh Air Force Welfare Trust to facilitate the repatriation of Bangladeshi
nationals stranded in Dubai.
Every passenger from Dubai was required to travel with a Coronavirus Negative Certificate and
to carry two pairs of disposable gloves and a mask.
A large number of Bangladeshis have been stranded in various cities in the UAE for more than
three months due to the outbreak of COVID 19. US-Bangla Airlines, in collaboration with the
governments of Bangladesh and the UAE, brought back the stranded Bangladeshi nationals from
Dubai today.
