Biman Bangladesh Airlines has temporarily suspended its flights on Bangkok route from today.
Tahera Khandaker, deputy general manager (public relations) of the national flag carrier, told this to journalists in a WhatsApp message.
With Bangkok route, the airliner was forced to suspend its flights on 15 of total 17 international destinations following the global outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19).
The national flag carrier has so far incurred a loss of around Tk 300 crore in the last one and half month, sources in Biman said.
Biman is now operating its flights on only two destinations — London and Manchester.
