Free telephone facilities have been opened at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. As a result, foreign tourists or expatriates, who can get to the airport, can contact the required person without paying any fees.
Airport sources said the BTCL has set up a free telephone booth at the airport in the initiative of the Civil Aviation Authority to make Shahjalal International Airport more convenient. Residents have been able to talk to the country from February 7 onwards.
The telephone booth is just after immigration. Inside the airport, mobile operators can issue passports from the company’s sales center to buy a SIM and talk to anyone from here.
Captain Touhid ul Ahsan, director of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, said that free telephone facilities have been introduced to make the airport more convenient.
