US-Bangla Airlines Ltd, country’s leading private airlines, has received “Gold Award in the Best On-Time Performance-2019” for continuous on-time flight operations in Bangladesh aviation industries. The airline also received Silver category award in the Best Onboard Services, Best Customer Friendly Airline, Best Domestic Airline and Bronze category award in Best Improved Service. US-Bangla Airlines was the top most Bangladeshi Airlines to receive different category award in same program.
General Manager- Public Relations of US-Bangla Airlines Ltd, Mr. Md. Kamrul Islam received the award on behalf of the airlines from the chief guest H.E Ahmed Bin Mohamed Al-Dehaimi, Ambassador of Qatar to Bangladesh on January 31, 2020. Kazi Wahidul Alam, Editor, The Bangladesh Monitor, Prof Shibli Rebayatul Islam, Dean, Faculty of Business Studies and Chairman, Sadharan Bima Corp, Monjurul Ahsan Bulbul, Journalist and Kashef Rahman,CEO, ShareTrip and among other guests were attended the program Monitor Airline of the Year 2019.
Currently, in domestic routes, the airlines operates daily flights to Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Jashore, Saidpur, Sylhet, Rajshahi and Barishal from Dhaka.
In international routes, the airlines operate flight to Kolkata, Chennai, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Guangzhou, Muscat and Doha.
The airline started its journey on July 17, 2014 with two 76-seater Dash8-Q400 aircraft and with the maiden flight to Jashore. Within less than two years it went international with the introduction of flight to Kathmandu. The airline’s fleet consists of thirteen aircraft: 4 Boeing 737-800, 6 Brand New ATR72-600 and 3 Dash8-Q400.
