Le Méridien Dhaka is organising a 10-day-long ‘Pitha Fest’ from today (Thursday).

Guests will be able to delve into the delicacies of pitha with regular buffet dinner at the Latest Recipe, says a press release.

The Pitha station will feature more than 25 types of delicious and traditional pithas, like Dudh Khejur, Mug Shola, Golap Pitha, Lobongo Lotika, Shewai Pitha, Badshahi Pitha, Rosh Monjuri, Vhapa Puli, Jhal Pantua and many more. There will also be a Live Station for Shahi Vapa and Chitoi with Vorta.

General manager of Le Méridien Dhaka Constantinos S Gavriel said, “Pitha is a part of life and culture of Bangladeshi people. Pithas are made throughout the whole year, but winter is the best time to make and have them. But nowadays people, especially those who live in urban areas, don’t have much time to engage themselves in making pitha as it is time-consuming. That is why we are happy to organise the Pitha Fest so that that urban people can enjoy these traditional delicacies.”

The offer will be available at BDT 3,900++ per person. ‘Buy One Get One’ offers will also be available on selected cards.
