Famed Chef Hassan Koubaissi has taken on the role of Executive Chef at Amari Dhaka. A tremendous excitement surrounds his joining as he promises to introduce a unique contemporary line of dishes, many of which are a first here in Bangladesh.
Chef Hassan Koubaissi started his career in 1998 with Intercontinental Hotel, UAE. Now with over 20 years of professional hands-on experience, Mr Koubaissi has been managing and developing food and beverage production in various 5 Star hotels and resorts all over the globe including Doha, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Pakistan, Bahrain and Abu Dhabi.
When it comes to his cooking philosophy, he creates dishes which are modern and at the same time fulfils the requirements of the customers. His motto at work is to always keep pace with development in every professional field.
His most recent assignment was in Sharq Village Hotel Spa as Executive Sous Chef. Before that the chef has served as the Executive Head Chef at Hilton Dead Sea Resort and Spa and even Sheraton Beach, UAE Sharjah. His professional portfolio includes playing the Executive Chef at big names in the hospitality industry like, Roasewood Al Faisaliah Suites & Resorts, Saudi Arabia; Shangri-La Hotel Barr Al Jissah Resort and Marriort Hotel Islamabad.
