Biman’s ticket cutting made easier with 10% rebate per ticket

From now onward one can purchase ticket of Bangladesh Bimna of any route sitting at home. Will not need to spend excess amount. Rather will get 10%  rebate per ticket.  Having no sharing in agent commission both Bangladesh Biman and passengers will be benefitted.

 By this time ticket selling test has been completed successfully. Very soon it will be formally inaugurated by prime minister Sk Hasina. When asked Civil Aviation and Tourism Secretary M. Mohibul Hoque said to Jugantor that by order of the Prime Minister to handle the corruption of Bimna with iron hand we are going to tell a good news to passengers.

That is, to sell ticket through mobile app. Anyone willing can purchase ticket through mobile phone sitting at home.

All facilities regarding ticket will be available in this app. BY this time our test journey to this effect has been completed. We hope to expected inauguration formally by the prime minister on availability of time. He said, prime minister is moving forward a big step of Biman Bangladesh Airlines. Due to her fearless courage and direction our full team is now more bright.

Sources said, from conventional system of ticket selling Biman has to give 25% commission and service charge to travel agents and Online platform organisation ‘GDSK’. Of them travel agent get commission 7% per ticket.

In addition to this if the target is met then  another 2.50% is given. With all these travel agents get 9.50%. On the other hand GDS gets $15 per ticket for giving online service.

But the contrary if anyone purchase ticket through mobile app will get 10% rebate per ticket. Biman will also be benefited. It is found in observation that Biman’s daily tickets is about 7 thousand.

If 5% of these tickets are sold through mobile app then Biman could save Taka 5 crore. This way if ticket selling is increased through mobile phone then Biman and passengers could be more benefitted.

Sources said,  to increase sale of ticket Biman will declare different offer and package.  So that not a single seat does not go vacant and to this respect work on different aspect is under way regarding marketing campaign.

But in all respect zero tolerance rules will be the basis. In addition to this to get back the confidence of passengers, in different time rebate and up-gradation of essential service of passengers will be enhanced.  

By this ‘system loss’ of Bimna has brought down to lowest level. In maximum routes Biman is taking off in right time which is being monitored from ministry through digital system.
