Imran Khan, Pakistan’s Prime Minister said that Gilgit-Baltistan is a gateway to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC); multi-billion dollar project will bring development to the region in the future.
The Prime Minister expressed confidence in his address at the Azadi Parade in Gilgit on Friday, while alluding to Gilgit-Baltistan’s immense beauty that now more tourists will visit the region that will bring prosperity and ensure a brighter future for its people.
The Prime Minister said Pakistan has been opened to tourism as a visa has been abolished for residents of 70 countries and they can receive the visa upon arrival at the airports.
Imran Khan said Pakistan would be uplifted in accordance with Madina’s principles. He said Pakistan was God’s great gift and it was the first country to be carved out in Islam’s name.
“By following Madina state’s principles, we will make this country a glorious example to the world,” he reaffirmed.
