Osaka, the second largest city of Japan has hosted the tourism fair from 24-27 October.Bangladesh

Osaka, the second largest city of Japan has hosted the tourism fair from 24-27 October.Bangladesh took part in this fair. Along with Bangladesh tourism board, Tourism Corporation, in total seven organization participated in this fair.

The fair was organized by the initiatives of Japan’s Travel & Tourism Association, Japan’s Association of Travel Agents and Japan National Tourism Organization.

Additional Secretary, Civil Aviation and Tourism Ministry, Mizanur Rahman, was leading the Bangladesh representatives at the fair. The Embassy of Bangladesh provided necessary support to the Bangladeshi representatives. Rabab Fatima, Bangladesh Ambassador to Japan was continuously monitoring and inquiring about the event and the representatives.

Bangladeshi heritage, culture and various tourist attractions were showcased at the fair. The Rickshaw and Saree exhibition has fascinated Japanese visitors at the event. Several visitors wore Bangladeshi Sarees & Punjabis and took pictures while sitting on the rickshaw.

Bangladeshi pavilion was decorated in an attractive form. Apart from that, quiz contests were organized for the visitors and the winners received various prizes. Various informational leaflets and publications were distributed among the Japanese visiting the fair.

This fair will help to emphasize Bangladesh and the tourism of Bangladesh to the Japanese citizens and tourists.
