SalamAir has started direct flights from the port city to Chittagong to Muscat. The airline launched a flight from Dhaka to Muscat in September last year.
This is the second route in Oman’s budget airline Salameyer Bangladesh. News-Trade Arabia News Service.
It is reported that next Monday, October 4, four flights a week (Mon, Wed, Fri and Sunday) will be operated on the Chittagong-Mascot route. Departing from Maskat at 9:30 pm local time, Shah Amanat will leave at 6pm at the airport. The four-day flight from Dhaka to Dhaka.
In this regard, Captain Mohammad Ahmed, CEO of SalaamAir, said a new aircraft route was being opened to facilitate the travel of expatriate Bangladeshis living in Oman. The new route will play a role in strengthening Oman’s friendly relations with Bangladesh and expanding the tourism and trade industries.
The airline is serving passengers on six routes in South Asia. SalaamAir operates flights to Kathmandu, Nepal, Karachi, Multan and Sialkot outside Nepal and outside Dhaka and Chittagong.
Other international routes to Salamere are Dubai and Abu Dhabi, UAE, Qatar, Doha, Jeddah and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, Tehran and Siraj in Iran, Khartou in Sudan, Alexandria in Egypt, Kuwait, Istanbul in Turkey. In addition, the airlines operate flights to Muscat, Salalah and Sohar on domestic routes.
